In the Judeo-Christian Bible, there is an account of a good, faithful man who struggled through loss and pain. His name was Job. He lost his children, his possessions, even his health. After much time, which probably seemed eternal, Job was vindicated and blessed beyond his past state.
I feel I am like Job in that when I returned from Iraq in August 2010, I had no job. I was depressed and downhearted, but not without a sliver of hope. My family and friends helped me and prayed for me to have a job, again. Finally, after almost six whole months, God has blessed me with a job. I am happy as Job was at the end of his story! Thank you Jesus!!! Halleluiah!!
This is a blog that I sometimes, actually, rarely, remember to update. It depends on my memory, evidence of anything interesting going on, and time. It focuses on me, my family, and anything I might think is noteworthy.

SEPTEMBER HAS ARRIVED
I want to run in San Antonio's Rock and Roll Marathon. Maybe, with lots of training, I'll be shirtless; but, only if I look studly.
Besides running a lot, I'll have to focus on arms, chest, abs, back, and diet. Waaaahh. I like eating delicious food like pizza, burgers, and tacos.
This photo was taken in Baghdad, Iraq. This was the first 5K I ran there on Camp Cropper and I placed 2nd with a 19 minute time. I've only beat that time once and that was my goal for the last run there in Cropper. I like achieving my goals. It gives me the warm fuzzies.
